During the back to school season, parents are at their busiest and kids are most in need of being fueled for long days of learning and activities. Gone are the days where most parents have a hot meal or snack waiting for their kids after school. Family dynamics have changed – and so have the way parents feed their kids. In 60% of families, both parents work outside the home – meaning time is a premium, and many kids are cooking for themselves, or dad is serving as chef.
