OBJECTIVES The main purpose of this Trust is to start the Industrial Training Institute with a objective of all round excellence in all disciplines. Valliyoor is one of the developing areas in Tirunelveli District, which needs technical, vocational training for the youth. Hence we are focusing our attention and concentration in promoting in all respects. AIM OF THE ITI • To train the youngsters scientifically and technically so as to meet the industrial needs of today and tomorrow. • To FOCUS in depth knowledge on multi skill training for immediate employment. • To emphasize in practical training to face the competitive world. • To give more emphasize on computer knowledge, spoken English, sports, games and other co-curricular activities in addition to character building. • To give advanced and international standard of training. • To link with reputed industrials in India and abroad to have employment opportunities for our trainees.

LOCATION TNK Industrial Institute is located in Valliyoor near Bus stand, which is also close to the ATOMIC POWER PROJECT, KUDAMKULAM, HITECH CITY, NIANGUNERI, LPSC (ISRO) KAVALKENARU, WIND MILLPOWER PROJECT, KAVALKENARU. RULES AND REGULATIONS ADMISSIONS • Candidates seeking admission should buy application in the ITI office only. • Prospectus and application form will be issued against payment of application fee only. • Admission will be started after the announcement of the +2 Result. • Preference will be given to the students who have proficiency in extra curricular activities like sports. • Applications can be obtained in person or by post on payment of application fee from the office of TNK Industrial Training Institute, Main Road, Valliyoor-627117. 4. Students once admitted into a particular trade can not change it under any circumstances. • Filled in application should be submitted to the correspondent/ Principal TNK Industrial Training Institute, Main Road, Valliyoor- 627117. Tirunelveli Dist., within late date announced by the Institute. • New Admission will be finalized on the guidelines of the Government. • The selected candidates have to pay all the fees at the time of admission and also submit their following Documents: 1. SSLC Mark Sheet 2. Transfer Certificate 3. Community Certificate 4. B&W Passport size Photo 10 Nos. & 2 Color Stamp size Photos. • All fees should be paid in full before the last date announced by the Institute. • Fees will be received from 9:00AM to 5:00PM on all working days. • The management reserves the rights to refuse admission to a particular applicant without assigning any specific reason. • Fees once remitted under any circumstances will not be refunded whether in full or part. • This applies equally to student who has been expelled from the institute on disciplinary ground.

7. EXAMINATION All India Trade Test conducted by DGET New Delhi, Govt. of India Ministry of Labor. CERTIFICATE National Trade Certified (NTC) will be issued to the successful candidate in All India Trade Test. MEDIUM OF INSTRUTIONS English & Tamil JOB OPPURTUNITIES ITI Technicians of all trades are specifically job oriented with plenty of opportunities in private and public sector in India and aboard. APPRENTICESHIP TRANING Successful students will be given Apprenticeship training in the Private and Public sector companies which are covered under the Apprenticeship Act 1961. SELF EMPLOYMENT As sound training is both Theory and Practical have been given during the course of training trainees develop self confidence, to start their own industries. 8. SCHOLARSHIPS Students belonging to Backward, Most Backward classes, Scheduled casted and Schedule Tribes, Physically handicapped etc. are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
