  3. Definition for waist • Waist- body area between ribs and hips: the part of the human trunk between the rib cage and the hips, usually narrower than the rest of the trunk

  4. Sentence for waste because this is a waste just talking to you!!! • Waste- New methods of reducing, re-using and recycling waste are required if the reliance on landfill is to change.

In my mind was is past tense; so when I see the word waste I think past tense as in old. When I think of old I think of dump. That is what helps me remember the difference between waste and waist.
