  2. Turn away If you could get me a drink of water ‘Cause my lips are chapped and faded When you come out of chemo your sick and thirsty and just want to rest and drink water. I think the most important line is “if you could get me a drink of water ‘cause my lips are chapped and faded’ because he maybe just came out of chemo and is pretty thirsty and his/her mouth maybe feels dry.

  3. He/she knows that he/she is going to die and wants his/her brother and sisters to be still, don’t cry this is the way things are going to be. The most important line I think is “help her gather all my things and bury me in all my favourite colors my sisters and brothers, still” cause Call my Aunt Marie Help her gather all my things And bury me in all my favourite colors My sisters and brothers, still

He/she knows that he/she is go to die so he/she doesn’t want kiss his/her sisters, brothers or parents cause when the time comes its go to be hard on them and him I think the most important line is “cause the hardest part of this is leaving you’’ cause its hard to leave the people you love. I will not kiss you Cause the hardest part of this Is leaving you

Now turn away Cause I’m awful just to see Cause all my hairs abandoned all my body He/she is ashamed by the way he/she looks and doesn’t want to look in his/hers family's eyes and see the hurt and sadness. I think the most important line is “Now turn away cause I’m awful just to see” because he/she is embarrassed by the way he/she looks and doesn’t want to have his/hers family upset by how her/he looks

Oh, my agony Know that I will never marry Baby, I’m just soggy from the chemo But counting down the days to go In this Stanza the artist seems to be telling us that he will never be able to love anyone, that he will never have someone to hold, etc.. I think the most Important line is “baby, I’m just soggy from the chemo but counting down the days to go” maybe he just came out from having chemo done and he’s upset and feeling down and the doctor probably said how many more days he/she has left.

It just ain’t living And I just hope you know That if you say (If you say) Goodbye today (Goodbye today) I’d ask you to be true (Cause I’d ask you to be true) I think the most important line is “it just ain’t living and I just hope you know” cause he/she doesn’t want to live anymore with the cancer and having to have the chemo and the pain of his/her family In this stanza the artist seems to be telling us that if he/she dies today he/she wants you to be true like tell the truth if you ever wanted to say anything.

  8. Cause the hardest part of this Is leaving you Cause the hardest part of this Is leaving you I this stanza the artist is its hard to leave the ones you love cause its hard on you and them. I think the most important line is “cause the hardest part of this is leaving you” cause he/she probably doesn’t want to leave his/hers family.
