  1. NoodleBib Basics Open, Login, Create and Print Lists

  2. Using NoodleBib Click on NoodleBib (located on Brookhaven’s library web page) • If accessing from home, Name and ID # are required to open database • If first time user, click on, Create a Personal ID • If a returning user, login.

  3. To create an account, provide information requested in all boxes. When finished, click Register.

  4. To Create Works Cited Lists, click on Create a New List.

  5. First, select a style

  6. Next, name your list.

  7. What is your source? Use the drop down arrow to select type of source being cited, answer the questions and provide information requested for each citation. Choose the best match for your source.

  8. After you select a source: • The first screen describes the source selected, options are provided if selection does not fit • On the second screen the publication medium of source is selected • Successive screen(s) further define the source by content, publication information available, etc.

  9. Fill in the blanks provided

  10. Get help for each field

  11. When you are done, check for errors, make changes and generate your citation.

  12. When your list is complete: save it as a word document, make formatting changes (annotations) if needed, then export and print.

  13. Save file. Open in Word for formatted list: double spaced & indented.
