An Introduction • Machinima is a method of making films/animations using pre-rendered (pre-built) characters and environments/backdrops, e.g game engines • Made using many games such as Halo, The Sims, Battlefield, Half-Life, Unreal, Grand Theft Auto, The Movies and unfortunately World of LosersWarcraft

The Big Players • The worlds biggest Machinima producer is Rooster Teeth Productions. • Brought you Red Vs Blue, The Strangerhood, and P.A.N.I.C.S (People Acting Normal in Crazy-Ass Situations) • Red Vs Blue is the most famous Machinima production, made on Halo. • Other big Machinima producers include Fire Team Charlie, Strange Company and g-Net media

  4. Rooster Teeth: Red Vs Blue • Since beginning in 2003, Red Vs Blue has worked its way up from a small production loved in the Halo gaming community to an official Machinima producer for Halo, backed by both Bungie and Microsoft.
