  4. IETF-LAC Activities • Mailing list to discuss in local languages • ietf-lac@lacnog.org • Pre-IETF Briefings • Virtual Meetings • Education and Evangelization • Localized efforts to find common interests

Remote Hub • I Pre-IETF Workshop (@ CSBC 2014) in Brasilia • http://csbc2014.cic.unb.br/index.php/i-workshop-pre-ietf • Adrian Farrel suggested setting up a place where people with common interests could attend the meeting. • Objective • Facilitate 2-way remote participation using existing tools. • Promote local interest groups. • Live introduction to an IETF meeting. • No change to the on-site experience. • Preparation • Briefings on the IETF process, the state of the WG and its technology.
