Los bosques son Los pulmones del planeta, encargados de producir oxigeno que garantiza la pureza del aire que respiramos.Los bosques retienen el agua de i la lluvia que es liberada lentamente a la atmósfera, regulando así el ciclo del agua. Son productores de madera, leña, carbón, forraje, frutos y semillas y albergan plantas medicinales.
