Ilk kez 1930da Amerikada NewYorklu 2 Jinekolog, Kurzrok ve Lieb Colombia niversitesinde insan seminal sivisinin, insan uterusunda yapmis oldugu kasilmanin prostaglandinler sonucu oldugunu ileri srmslerdir.
