Corporate Background AVETEC is a non-profit research corporation Started operations in 2005 in the Kissell Center Currently have 35 full time employees and 8 part time employees, and 20 interns for the summer of 2009 Established the National Center for Advanced Modeling and Simulation in Nextedge Park in 2008 Computing and Visualization Computational Sciences Engineering First Multi-Disciplinary Simulation of a Complete Gas Turbine Engine

Intern Project Goals • Provide Open Source Analysis in Support of the NASIC Counterspace Analysis, Regional Threats Analysis and Future Threat Squadrons • Evaluate the Merit of Paid & Foreign Periodical Subscriptions and Foreign Translated Documents in Support of Analysis • Evaluate the Effectiveness of Selected R&D Analysis Tools

  9. Project Timeline (10 Weeks) Start: Tuesday, 1 Jun 2009 End: Thursday, 6 Aug 2009 Interns Reported for Work Weekly on Monday - Thursday (Off on Fridays)
