CONCLUSIONS • a mixture of predominantly methyl-branched C14alkane isomers with a freezing point below −47 ℃ • n-C14to hydroisomerization using a 0.5% Pt/US-Y zeolitecatalyst at a fractional conversion just under 0.9 • The cracked products can be efficiently separated from the C14fraction via fractional vacuum distillation • the residual n-C14content must be reduced to <1.5 wt %.
