  3. Focus on experience A QUESTIONNAIRE/ A SURVEY Prepare a questionnaire for your classmates. Divide it into 2 parts and ask both Y/N and WH- questions. Be creative and try to write questions you think nobody else will write down. Sample questions: • Have you ever regretted doing something very bad? • What is the strangest place you have ever slept? Extra: Write down a hypothesis. For Y/N questions you may estimate the proportion of answers, for WH- questions you may try to guess some of the answers. At the end you may compare your classmates’ answers with your hypothesis. For the WH- questions write your classmates’ answers down. For Y/N questions mark down the number of particular answers. Be ready to present the results of your survey in the class. Mention the most surprising or amusing answers.

  4. Focus on arrangements: You and your friend are planning an event. Write what is necessary to do, tick what you personally have already done and write questions about what your partner has already done. Then, prepare a dialogue about what hasalreadybeen doneand what hasn’t been done yet. These are your plans: Example/ 0/ MOVING ABROAD • Things necessary to be done: cancel health and social insurance, cancel your bank account, learn something about the tax system in the country you are going to live in, … • Questions: Have you already cancelled your bank account? Have you learnt anything about the tax system in ….?

  5. Focus on arrangements: These are your plans: 1/ WEDDING 2/ GOING TO ASIA ON HOLIDAYS 3/ YOUR MUM’S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY 4/ BUYING A HOUSE 5/ APPLYING FOR A NEW JOB
