  3. What is IWeb? • Database of patient immunization records maintained by state governments • Immunization records automatically added from a variety of sources • Deduplication functions exist to prevent duplicate records • Patient information accessed through a web application

  5. Merging of Records Master: Client1 Provider2 Master: Client2 Provider3 Client1 is the same as Client 2. Reserve: Client1 Provider1 Reserve: Client1 Provider2 Reserve: Client2 Provider3 Reserve: Client2 Provider4

  6. Unmerging Records • Individually remove reserve records that are not associated with the correct master • These records create their own master • Master/reserve records must be merged back together to correct the bad merge

  7. Improving Unmerge • List all reserve records associated with the patient in question • Select two or more to become master records for unmerged clients • List the remaining reserve records and allow them to be associated with one of the previously selected master records
