  2. It is my job to look at each child as an individual who needs to be taught in a way that matches their learning style. My classroom should be a place where every child feels happy, safe and respected. My Job Description

  3. The 411 NO MORE VOICE MAIL. hizsa@chatham-nj.org Email is the quickest and best way to be in touch. Please remember to send in a note if there is a change in your child’s dismissal plan! ** (SUBSTITUES) Any Emergency Messages, please call SBS Main Office (973) 457-2509 Attendance Line: You must call the attendance line if your child will be late or absent. 973-457-2509 (press 1). Our new system will automatically send you an instant alert at 9:12.

  4. FAQ How do we celebrate birthdays? In third grade we celebrate birthdays with a “no-food” policy. To celebrate your child’s special day your child can choose a book that they can read to our class. Your child will have the opportunity to visit the prize box in Mr. Gardella’s office. What about our snack time? A healthy and simple snack is best. Snack time is approximately 10 minutes and it is typically a working snack. As a reminder please send your child’s snack in a separate bag or container. SNACKS MAY NOT BE SHARED! How can we keep our classroom healthy? Please keep your child home when they are sick! When in doubt check the guidelines: http://www.chatham-nj.org/Page/5123 All medications must be administered by our nurse and must be “stored” in the nurse’s office. (even cough drops)
