  3. Who will be there? • Lots of people – over 100 • Service users and carers • Decision-makers from the Council and CCG • Council and health officers • Voluntary sector • Providers of services

  4. Who will be there representing you? • There will be 8 reps from the Partnership Board – one from the schools • Carers will be invited through the Carers Forum for all carers • XbyX will be invited – their Chair has a learning disability

  5. What support will you get? • Mencap • Advocacy for All

  6. What will happen at the Conference? • Information about what is happening in health and social care in Bromley • 5 Workshops • Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

  7. Workshops – what will they be about? • Identifying and working with Carers • Staying Safe • Health and social care working together for the elderly • Information, advice and guidance • Benefits

  8. What can we do today to help the reps going to the Conference? • Talk about the workshops • Staying Safe – part of the workshop this afternoon • Information, advice and guidance • Benefits

  9. Information, advice and guidance Questions to think about: Where do you go to find out about services in Bromley? If you can’t use the internet to get information, where would you prefer to get it?

  10. Benefits Questions to think about: Your experiences with changes to benefits How confident are you about managing your money

  11. What will happen after the Conference? Actions from the workshops will be put into a plan Terry Parkin will take what people have said at the Conference to the Health and Wellbeing Board
