  4. www.sanjeevkapoor.com Ingredients Carrots,peeled and grated 6-8 medium Ghee 3 1/2 tablespoons Sugar 4 tablespoons Cashewnuts,roughly chopped 6-8 Raisins 1 tablespoon Black cardamom seeds,crushed 4-5 Khoya/mawa,grated 1/2 cup

  5. www.sanjeevkapoor.com Method Heat 3 tbsps ghee in a non stick pan, add carrots and sauté for 8-10 minutes. Add sugar and cook for 4-5 minutes or till sugar dissolves. Add crushed cardamom seeds and khoya and sauté for 3-4 minutes. In another non stick pan, heat ½ tbsp ghee. Add cashewnuts and raisins and sauté them lightly. Add these to the halwa and mix well. Transfer the halwa into a serving bowl and serve hot.
