Eleven Year 5 students ABOVE the Australian Mean in Reading. Nine Year 5 students ABOVE the Australian Mean in Spelling. Year 3 Numeracy “Identifies a shape with ¼ shaded”. AustAvg 47%, Expectation 35%, Actual 52%. Year 3 Numeracy “Matches a given addition fact to an inverse operation”. AustAvg 59%, Expectation 47%, Actual 77%. Year 5 Spelling “Sword”. AustAvg 51%, Expectation 37%, Actual 57%. Year 5 Grammar & Punctuation “Use of brackets”. AustAvg 89%, Expectation 81%, Actual 97%. No Year 3 girls below NMS in Writing, Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation or Numeracy! All Indigenous Year 3 students ABOVE NMS in Writing, Spelling and Grammar & Punctuation. All Indigenous Year 5 students AT or ABOVE NMS in Spelling. 17 instances of Year 3 students reaching Band 6 or higher. 24 instances of Year 5 students reaching Band 7 or higher. LUDMILLA PRIMARY SCHOOL Mean Score improvements in 9 of a possible 10 NAPLAN categories. Mean Score imprements in all 10 possible NAPLAN categories for Indigenous students. • Improved teacher quality teacher attraction & retention. • Improved stakeholder perception data. • Reductions in aggressive playground behaviours from 6.3pw to 2.1pw. • Increased innovation and risk-taking in practice. • Improved career opportunities. • Strong community support for change. • Increased School Council memberships. • New metrics developed for measuring behaviour improvement and social/emotional growth.
