  2. Group Definition for Journalism Plagiarism: Journalism plagiarism mean that when you copy from the journal that other write and say that it is your own jounal.

  3. Case 1: In February 2010, two plagiarism, involving a reporter for The New York Times and the chief investigative reporter for news website The Daily Beast resulted in the resignations of both journalists. Both men used words and language from other online news sources without permissions, highlighting one of the possible mistakes of web-based journalism.

  4. Case 2: John Hari In an article , the paper he works for, the George Orwell prize winner accepted he had done “stupid things” and needed to be held to account. His errors were open after a reader noticed a quote in one of his stories had been cut and pasted from a book. He start from denied plagiarism but further examples of him in the case of  recycling quotes were later found on the internet.

  5. Case 3: This is an example of journalism plagiarism, it seem that Glenn Mitchell is copying Eric Black: Eric Black: “In the centuries after the Mongol disaster, Iraq served mostly as a buffer or battleground between the great empires based in Turkey and Persia. During most of the period from 1538 to 1914, Iraq was dominated by the Ottoman Turks, who divided what is now Iraq into three provinces.” Glenn Mitchell: “For centuries, Iraq served mostly as a buffer or battleground between the great empires based in Turkey and Persia. From 1538 to 1914, Iraq was dominated by the Ottoman Turks, who divided what is now Iraq into three provinces.”

  6. Case 4 Originally compiled Gordon Belt on April 7, 2004 Khalil Abdullah (Macon Telegraph) – “KhalilAbdullah was fired after editors discovered that an article he wrote contained passages plagiarized from The San Diego Union-Tribune, and he later admitted lifting material from other news organizations.  An investigation found at least 20 stories by Abdullah that contained passages and quotes lifted from other news sources, including The St. Petersburg Times, The Washington Post, The (Baltimore) Sun, The New York Times, and The Associated Press”.
