  4. Olympics London 2012 • The official mascots for the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics Games are Wenlock and Mandeville.

  5. Olympics London 2012 • The Opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics will be called 'The Isles of Wonder’ and Danny Boyle will be the artistic director for the opening ceremony.

  6. Olympics London 2012 • Athletesfrom 204 nations will be participatein the Olympics. • The 2012 Summer Olympic programme features 26 sports and a total of 39 disciplines.

  7. Olympics London 2012 • The 2012 Olympics torch  will be run from 19 May – 27 July 2012. The Olympic Torch was made of Aluminum alloy skin and the colour of the torch will be gold.
