The Naughty Puppy

1. The Naughty Puppy ____ ____

2. One day Tim and Lucy planned to go out into the fields for a picnic. Lucy made ham and cheese sandwiches, Tim prepared the basket while their puppy, Spot, was staring and wagging his tail near the basket .

3. When everything was ready and packed, their Mum showed them the way to go on a huge and colourful map. While they were looking at the map Tim, Lucy and Mum did not look at what Spot was doing. Spot jumped onto the chairs and leapt onto the table. Spot had a very good sense of smell so he quickly smelt the sandwiches

4. He quickly jumped into the basket. Tim and Lucy knew the way to the fields. They waved to their mum and grabbed the basket and headed for the fields.

5. Tim and Lucy finally made it to the fields. They saw two cows which belonged to a farmer. While Tim unpacked the basket, Lucy said that it was a nice, hot summer day. She smelt some very nice flowers. When Tim opened the basket, their naughty puppy Spot jumped out.

6. Tim peeked in the basket but all that was left were bread crumbs. Instead of eating , they played. • When it was time to go they grabbed the basket and left the fields. When they arrived home they told their mum about their picnic.
