My young man and I (I am from the United States, he is French) met five years ago in Paris - in summer courses of French. I was studying at the time, and I came to Paris for the month. After that we had a long and difficult period "USA-FRANCE": we both needed visas, trips were very expensive. We have been getting together with for five years on the site, a lot has changed in our lives. Universities, places of work and residence changed. There was an interval when he lived in Paris and I lived in Washington. The most tough thing in such relations can be to learn to plan correctly, to calculate joint week-ends so that they do not coincide with business trips, the arrival of relatives, holidays, important matters and some more non-sense. All of us even have an online calendar unique to plan a joint weekend six months ahead. There was a moment when I was scared that the passport seat might end, so many stamps had been in it about traversing borders. Now we discover each other every two or three several weeks. How do we spend our time? We just work on the bed and we no longer go anywhere. That's the thrill! How hard is it for me with no loved one around? It may appear selfish, but I feel good about this long distance relationship. I like that there is a time when I am concentrated only on work, and there is a time when I just rest with the person I really like. There was a period when I was constantly twisting myself, questioning. And it's also a favorite question of girlfriends: "And when are you going to live together? " And then I just realized Trying to find happy all these five years. I am well, comfy and comfortable in such a relationship. You just have to trust one another. That's all!
