  2. Vogue India. This magazine cover is effective as the picture of the model/actress on the cover relates to the information inside the magazine. Just by visual observation, the customer(s) buying the product will know the magazine provides information and tips that would help the customer to look like her. The photo editors have used Photoshop persuasively by making her skin look flawless which also is another reason for why some people may buy this magazine. The writing circled on the magazine says “The secret to shiny, happy hair” which eagers the customers to find out what the secret is to get hair like Anushka Sharma. Photo editors have used Photoshop successfully by turning the brightness up to make her look as fair as possible (as that’s what most Indian women desire to have) and they’ve also used beneficial Photoshop skills to make her hair look shinier than normal. http://www.fashionmodeldirectory.com/magazines/vogue-india/

  3. Photoshop has been used very sly in this picture to make it look as realistic as possible. As you may know Kim Kadashianis a very famous model and is very, very, VERY popular for having that ‘curvy’ figure. Curvaceous figures could sometimes appear to look a bit bulky so this is where the Photoshop skills kicks in. Photoshop has been used in this picture to make a skin look 3x lighter on her face, arms and thighs. As you can see in the green circle, her face has been Photo-shopped to look flawless e.g. all her baby hair on her forehead has been removed. In the yellow circle you can see how the ‘fat’ on her stomach has been removed to make her look thinner around the waist. In the red circle you can see a dramatic change in her thighs in the before picture and the after picture. Her thighs looks a lot thinner and the skin on her thigh looks more smoother and lighter.   4. This beautiful scenery has obviously been Photo-shopped. Three pictures of nature has been Photo-shopped into one to make it look as eye-catching as possible. The three pictures used in this picture are: The sky during sun set, a tree and a sandy sea side. It is obvious the tree has been Photo-shopped as it is impossible for a tree to grow in sand. I can tell the sky has been Photo-shopped as the colours vary from yellow to orange, to blue. Photoshop has been used to smooth out the sand and to make the water more bluer than usual to create that ‘warming cosy’ look.   5. By looking at this picture you can tell that Photoshop is not only used for models and scenery but also for food. Many companies try to make their products (in this case, food e.g. burgers) as mouth watering as possible so it persuades their target audience to buy their food. In the first picture, the burger on the left looks a lot different to the one on the right. The burger on the left is what customers actually get and the burger on the right is what’s been advertised. Comparing the advertised burger picture to the second picture, the “ideal burger” you can still see a small difference. The ideal burger looks more brighter than the advertised burger and it looks more bigger.
