  3. Our engagement • Choose unconventional paths for the introduction of renewable energies • To improve the political framework • To inform citizens and decision maker about the chances • To build up a network of the actors

  5. Our history • 1993 Foundation of fesa e.V. Objectives: • foundation of an energy agency in Freiburg • civil participative installations • lobbying for renewable energies • 1994 First participative installation • 1997 Establishing of the magazine „Die SolarRegion“ • 1999 Foundation of the Energy Agency Regio Freiburg • 2001 Foundation of the fesa GmbH

  6. Why civil participative installations ? • Possible without suitable roof • Limited financial capital enough to participate • Together it’s possible to build bigger installations than alone. • Energy consumers become energy producers

Our solar installations • Printing house „Rombach“ in Freiburg (50,5 kW, Dec 1994) • Southern roof of SC stadium Freiburg (95 kW, May 1995) • Trade college „Richard-Fehrenbach“ FR (29 kW, Jun 1995) • School in Wehr (4 kW, Oct 1995) • Bank in Gundelfingen (20 kW, Feb 1996) • School „Kepler“ in Freiburg (8 kW Apr 1997 and Feb 1998) • School in Rheinfelden (4 kW, Oct 1997) • School „Dreisamtal“ in Kirchzarten (18 kW, Dec 2000)
