  5. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme • Established in 2009 by the Research Grants Council • Open to students around the world • 3-year period: US$ 2,600 monthly stipend; US$ 1,300 per year conference and research travel allowance • About 135 PhD fellowship will be awarded each academic year

  6. Quality migrant admission scheme (QMAS) • Launched in June 2006 • Criteria: age, academic/professional qualifications, work experience/achievement, language proficiency, family background • 1,479 applicants approved • Financial; accounting; ICT; commerce and trade; sports; arts and culture

  7. Recruitment of Administrative Officer • Six examination centres outside Hong Kong: • Beijing • Toronto • Vancouver • New York • San Francisco • London, UK • Sydney
