  3. Jednoslabičné príd. mená • stupeň: čisto len príd. meno tall – vysoký • stupeň: príd. meno + er taller – vyšší • stupeň: príd. meno + est tallest - najvyšší John is tall. ....vysoký. Mark is taller. ....vyšší. Peter is the tallest. ......najvyšší.

Viacslabičné príd. mená • stupeň: čisto len príd. meno beautiful – pekný • stupeň: pred príd. meno more more beautiful – krajší • stupeň: pred príd. meno most most beautiful – najkrajší This moon is beautiful. ......pekný. This star is more beautiful. .....krajšia. This sun is the most beautiful. ......najkrajšie.

  6. Porovnávanie ..... Mark is taller than John. Marek je vyššínežJohn. Peter is the tallest of all. Peter je najvyšší zo všetkých. Martin is as tall as Tomáš. Martin jetakývysoký ako Tomáš.
