  2. Agenda • Introduction • Standardization areas in SeON • Next Steps

  3. Introduction • SeON WG has progressed well on the following Tasks of Technical Reports: • SeON Framework: Focus on requirements based on End user apps, Policies, Underlying networks (CN, OSS/BSS, MSS) • Gap Analysis of SDOs: Principally focusing on ATIS SON and IEEE P1903 (Std. on NGSON Architecture) + other study groups in ITU-T, OMA, TMF. • Business Models and Arch: Points out situation of stakeholders and the wish list.

  4. Standardization Areas • QoS • End to End QoS for composed services/applications in a multi-operator environment. • Service Composition • Composition of services/applications in a multi-operator environment. Especially rapid application adaptation for semi-urban and rural applications. • Self Organization • Self organization of service operations applicable in a multi-operator environment. • Content Delivery • Content delivery in a multi-operator environment. Efficient mechanisms to reach semi-urban and rural users. • Context Awareness • Adaptation of application based on contexts of users, networks, device and services. • Identity Management • Handling multi-identity in the form of Global ID across multi-operator environment.

  5. Next Steps • Co-operation with SDOs. • IEEE NGSON • ATIS SON
