  1. Dear colleagues, We are very glad to welcome you here. Two years ago we have decided to hold the next Meeting of our Network in Petersburg. We are grateful to you for this decision and we consider it as support of our modest efforts.

  2. Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute is located 40 km south of Petersburg in a picturesque small town Gatchina. Gatchina is old Russian city. It is well-known for Paul the First palace and fine park.

  3. Our institute is one of the largest institutes of the Russian academy of sciences. The basic directions of researches are physics of elementary particles and fundamental interactions, nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, molecular and radiation biophysics, theoretical physics. The main experimental facilities are 1 GeV proton synchrotron and 20 MWt research reactor.

  4. The Center of the nuclear data has arisen in laboratory of nuclear spectroscopy of our institute at the end of seventies of the last century. It was headed till 1999 by Igor Kondurov.

  5. Employees of the Center combined experimental spectroscopic researches with the processing and the evaluation of the nuclear data. During these years the huge experience with the data handling had been saved up, the set of interesting algorithms of processing is offered, useful computer programs are written.

  6. Area of the responsibility of our Data Center was and still is isobaric chains with А=130-135. Yuri Sergeenkov was engaged in an evaluation of the nuclear data most fruitfully.

  7. Since 2000 the head of the Data Center is Ivan Mitropolsky. He is a theorist on a speciality; therefore a method of systematics of experimental data on the basis of nuclear models was added to the directions of activity of our Center. In our short reports it will be told about work of the Data Center in 2005-2007 in more detail. We shall be glad for any cooperation in our activity.

  8. Sincerely we wish successful work and pleasant stay in Petersburg!
