Initiative already taken up by SIRD,Assam in the Block 1.      Base line survey for collecting sector specific data is continuing. 2.      Gram Panchayat wise 3days training programme for selected stack-holders has been continuing on various developmental programmes. 3.     Twevle courses covering 484 participants has been organized in the twelve GPs of the block. 4.      Participants are youth,Socialactivits,representative of NGOs& CBOs etc. 5.      Panchayat has been involved in selecting the participants.

  42. Initiative already taken up by SIRD,Assam in the Block .6.      Volunteers will be picked up out of these participants in consultation of panchayats. 7.      PRA exercises for participatory awareness generation & village planning has been started in the villages of the block. 8.      Training proposal covering1000participants belonging to different categories has already been submitted. Self-employmentoriented activities of SIRD has been intensified in the block. Awareness generation of income generation is also continuing in the block
