  5. wore animal skins • formed the caste of priests • loved to gamble • raced chariots • Liked fighting games • Liked to tell stories

  6. brought their language Sanskrit to India (many language in India today are based on Sanskrit) • Aryans' holiest books, the Vedas (VAY-duhz) written in Sanskrit • 4 books of sacred writings • this religion developed into Hinduism
