  2. Tea to the Rescue Tea is exceptionally beneficial for your wooden furniture. The tannic acid helps in adding a shining touch to wood and helps in getting rid of old polish. Fill up a cooking pot with clean water and add two spoons/bags of tea. Let the water boil for 10 minutes and then switch off the burner. Cool it down to room temperature and wring a soft cloth in the mix. Wipe the surface with this cloth and dry the surface by wiping it with a lint-free cloth.
