Early Literacy (K-6) • Core • 90 minutes of uninterrupted time. • Supplemental • an additional 30 minutes of targeted instruction should be provided beyond the core with homogeneous groups of 3-5 students • Intensive • 60 additional minutes of instruction beyond the core instruction with homogeneous groups of 1-3 students Building Level, Day 2

Adolescent Literacy (4-12) • Core • Content area classes • Supplemental • Homogeneous instruction can be provided to groups as large as 10 to 16 students for 30-50 minutes per day or one class period. • Intensive • Grades 4-8 small groups of 1-4 students for 50-60 minutes per day • High school small groups of 1-5 students for 50-60 minutes per day Building Level, Day 2
