The Higher Colleges of Technology • The HCT is a system of 12 campuses offering over 75 modern programs to more than 15,000 Emirati men and women across the United Arab Emirates • Emirati’s make up only 17% of the population yet over 19650 academic credentials have been issued to over 14400 graduates

The Higher Colleges of Technology • Although the HCT colleges consistently achieve high, uniform standards in teaching and learning, each college is designed to respond in its particular programs and course offerings to the needs of the community in which it operates • Attendance at the HCT is free for Nationals

The Higher Colleges of Technology • As classes at the HCT are taught in English, and the majority of students are taught in their native language Arabic at both Primary and Secondary school, students are required to undertake an intensive English course in their first year • HCT are equipped with the latest technology allowing students to work from laptops anywhere within the college compounds
