  1. Tropical Rainforests By Elliott

  2. The beginning of our adventure • Did you know? Millions of creatures, big and small, are being slaughtered .This is due to deforestation; a scheme where greedy miners and business men cut and burn down trees which doesn’t only kill the animals but could kill out a future generation. This may startle you but you could prevent this by donating to a charity, there are plenty to choose from. Or just start your own.

  3. The Sloth • The Sloth has a healthy diet of fruit and nuts • It would take a Sloth a monthto travel a single mile • Sloths belong to the Megalonychidae and the Bradypodidae families

  4. Venus fly trap • The Venus fly trap is one of the most feared plants ever its Menacing look and stealth is the perfect match for its prey • Its diet is most winged insects but mostly Flies • It contains a sticky goo like liquid that traps there prey and digests them

  5. The Aye Aye • The Aye Aye is a very ugly Creature and lives in the trees And belongs to the Primate family • It has a extremely long Middle finger for picking grubs out of trees (grubs are its favourite food)

  6. Lemur • The lemur is a creature that Lives on Madagascar and Rainforests to • They huddle together in the grass to stay warm

  7. Deforestation Deforestation is a human cause. People go to the rainforest and cuts down tree’s and also burn them down. The area of 32000 foot ball pitches are either cut down or burnt every day. This means that oxygen’s will be less and we as human beings will have less chance of surviving. Deforestation is caused to make room for urban use such as farms and livestock.

  8. Reforestation Reforestation is when people who cut down trees also replant them .This occurs very little since not many people respect mother natures marvellous rainforests. If you want to you could plant your own trees in your garden and that may not save earth but it shows you care for the environment. But who knows if enough people plant there own trees we may save earth.

  9. Recycling Recycling is a good cause in which one instead of throwing there rubbish in a bin they get it transformed into something new. This is better for the Rainforests because if we reuse our items there is less cause for plants in the Rainforest to be cut down which is better for not only us but the creatures that dwell in the Rainforests.

  10. Farewell we hope you have enjoyed our presentation and that it has changed the way you look at rainforests. And always remember that nearly most of your house hold items are made from wood that comes from trees though you may not know it.
