Born on December 24, 1997, in the village of Khandra in Haryana, India, Neeraj is a star athlete who has made the country proud on numerous occasions. Neeraj Chopra's journey in athletics began when he was just a child. Growing up in a small village, he was always fascinated by sports and would often spend hours practicing his skills. At the age of 12, he began training in athletics under the guidance of his uncle, who was also an athlete. Neeraj's talent was quickly noticed, and he began to participate in various state-level competitions. His first major breakthrough came in 2016 when he won a gold medal in the South Asian Games. This was just the beginning of Neeraj's success story. In 2018, Neeraj Chopra made history when he became the first Indian to win a gold medal in javelin throw at the Commonwealth Games.
