  1. How to reset an iPhone Many times you will need to reset your iPhone. Also, there are many ways to do it. In this post, The Tech Guru will tell you how to reset an iPhone device. It includes a soft reset where you just turn off and turn on your device. And then, there is a forced reset also when you are not able to restart your device. We will also introduce you to some more advanced methods as well for the same process. The methods we share in this post are applicable for all iPhone models – from iPhone 6S to iPhone 11 Pro. How to Soft Restart your iPhone You can use this method to restart your phone when your device is responding. If your iPhone model is higher than the iPhone 5S, you will have to press the side button with the power off button. It will eventually turn off your device. However, if you have an original iPhone SE or iPhone 5, you have to press the power button on your device's top. Now you have to wait until your device is completely shut down. Then, you have to press your power button again to turn on the device. Therefore, it is the easiest reset possible on the iPhone. How to Force Restart Your iPhone If your iPhone is hanged or not responding for some reason, then you cannot simply restart it using the soft method. In this case, you will require a force restart. During this process, you will not lose any data on your device. Moreover, the process is different for various iPhone models. We will explain all methods in this post.

  2. Method for iPhone X5, iPhone X, iPhone SE, iPhone 8, AndiPhone 11 Series For the devices mentioned above, quickly press and release the volume up key. After that, do the same with the volume down key. You will need to keep pressing the power button until you see the Apple logo on your screen. Your device will restart now. Once it is entirely on, you can use it usually. Method for iPhone 7 Series You just have to press the volume down button and wake up button on the right side of these devices. Keep pressing the keys consistently until you see the Apple logo on your device. When your phone is entirely on, this means you have completed the forced restart on your iPhone device. How to Factory Reset YouriPhone Device If you need something more advanced, Factory Reset is the next option for you. However, you should not take it lightly because you will lose all your data during this process. As the name suggests, your device will turn into the factory version. For this, connect your iPhone to your PC and store all your data somewhere. The other method of taking the back up is to upload your data to iCloud. After taking the backup of your device, you are ready to factory reset your iPhone.
