  2. Last time we found our heroes… • Mostly around Jupiter • With a strange alien and or robot friend (btw robit is a joke, do NOT spell robot like that) • Firing Lasers • In some kind of trouble • And the main character was human

  3. And the overall mood of the Twilight Zone writing was… • Extremely Depressing • The most common theme being ‘Death kills both the man and the girl for wasting his time (or out of spite).’ • There were also a handful of ‘Death kills all the children too…’

  4. When you see this image, is your first reaction to cringe in disgust or think that maybe it looks cool?

  5. Introduction to the Doctor Who Universe… So there’s this guy, and he’s called The Doctor. He is an alien known as a ‘Time Lord’. He can travel through time and most of his adventures involve solving some kind of problems. Settings include several places from World War 2 to alien planets. He usually has a human as a companion with him on his trips. He generally has no weapons other than high intelligence.

  6. Additionally, the Doctor can regenerate when killed. When he does, he is still a Time Lord, but he becomes a completely new person(ality). The introductory episode we will be watching today features the Doctor’s 11th incarnation, played by Matt Smith.For non-Doctor Who people in the room, any questions?

  7. Explaining Story Elements Answer the following: Main Character At least 2 supporting characters Setting Plot (episode only) Climax (most intense part)

  8. Animated Short: On the same piece of Doctor Who story elements page, write an ending (or the next part) to this animated short (half page min). (She falls and dies is not only cliché but obvious; don’t be boring, Geiger…)
