  3. Who are we? Airmen Breaking Bread, Founded February 15th 2013. Our goal is to put service before ourselves with excellence in all we do. We do this by serving the WPAFB installation and the Dayton community outside WPAFB. Our service through volunteerism, fundraising, financial support, or simply giving up our time. We use Airmen in the United States Air force as a tool to better the community in any way possible.

  4. Dorm Party bruncheon • February 23rd 2013 • Full support from WPAFB Base Chaplain • Full Servolution Support. • Gathered 30 volunteers • Fed over 200 dormitory Airmen

  5. 2013 bowl for kids’ sake • March 9th 2013 • First time holding event on WPAFB • Planned and executed in under 3 weeks • Raised $2,500 with $1,300 given to Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation • Packed Kittyhawk Bowling Alley with 100 Active Duty Military Participants Ranging from E-3 to 0-3

  6. Ronald mcdonald brunch • April 27th 2013 • 2nd event with WPAFB Servolution Team • Full Base Chaplain Support. • Gathered 17 Volunteers • Cooked Brunch meal for 36 RMH families, feeding 150 people

  7. Dayton food bank • May 30th 2013 • The Food Bank of Dayton Received a huge donation of food supplies from the Dayton Hunger Initiative. • gathered 14 volunteers who sorted, checked expiration dates, packed 2 skids of 122 boxes, • We contributed 2,071pounds of food packed and ready to be distributed to soup kitchens and homeless shelters throughout the city of Dayton

  8. Let’s make Oklahoma O.K. • Disastrous tornados hit Moore Oklahoma causing 23 deaths and injuring 377 others. • Contacted Matthew 25 Humanitarian Organization. They requested we collect non-perishable Foods to give to the hurting families. • Set up 10 food collection stations around WPAFB. • Left Stations out for 2 and a half weeks. • Collected 1,863 non-perishable food items for Matthew 25 to distribute to families in need.

  9. Operation Show our love • Operation Show Our Love. Started by Cindy Millikin and her family. They dedicate their house to building Care Packages for U.S. Troops. Over the past several years they have built about 4,000 Care Packages out of their own home. • The Millikin house was falling apart, needed yard work, some home repairs, and volunteers to organize, and to help build care packages. • Brought 11 volunteers to help Mrs. Millikin with her home. Ended up doing significant yard work, organized majority of the care package materials and built 22 care packages to be sent out to United States military Deployed over seas

Get Active Project: Flag football • Group vs Group active events purely for morale. • Teams of 8 on 8 all playing from the 5 groups: MDG, WSA, NASIC, COM, SFS. • 15 Squadron teams with 250 players and 60 spectators. • Base Championship on Nov 9th at the Area B soccer fields. • The next Get Active activity will be Capture the Flag • Get Active Project takes place once a quarter.

  11. Greenwood Manor Nursing Home Visit • Tuesday 22nd October. • First ABB event planned and led by another Airman. • A1C Whitney Williams planned and led the Greenwood Nursing Home visit. • Gathered 23 volunteers including Command Chief Michael Perry. • Played bingo and fellowshipped with 20 nursing home residents.
