    4. Logos, Pathos, and Ethos LOGOS refers to arguments and reasoning based on proven facts such as statistics and research.

    5. On Your Own Identify the examples as Pathos (P), Ethos (E), or Logos(L) __L__ According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, in 2004 over 10,000 traffic accidents were caused in our state by drivers who were under the influence of alcohol.

    6. Write: When did you last persuade? 1) Describe a time when you were persuasive. What happened and who did you persuade? Include details. 2) How did you convince someone to do or believe what you wanted them to? Did you use Pathos, Ethos, or Logos?
