  4. hData – Simplified Health Data Exchange Contacts: Gerald Beuchelt (beuchelt@mitre.org) Projects/Taskforces/Work groups involved: ITS (additional discussion with EHR, SD, others) Problem or Issue Addressed: Simple, easy-to-develop, and scalable HIT Progress since concept presented: Specifications completed, ready for DSTU ballot

MDHT Progress on Innovation • First HL7 CDA IG ballot completed for Oct 2010 WGM using MDHT for all aspects of UML design and ballot publishing • Genetic Testing Report implementation guide by Clinical Genomics WG • HL7 project for CDA tools: Progress Note IG completely remodeled in UML and published as example for review • Integrated model-generated Java runtime for C32 into NHIN applications. Also IHE labs and discharge summary. • Support for U.S. Meaningful Use implementers • Used by Mirth Corp, IBM, and others
