  5. Indigenous people The dam will cut off the free flow of the river, this means that natives won’t be able travel by boat to towns and cities for medical supplies and various other needs. A boat does not want to go over that!

  6. Flooding Dams can cause flooding in areas because they aren’t letting enough water through. This would be the flooded area.

  7. Illegal Logging An illegal logging operation in the Amazon River basin.

  8. Pig Iron Land is often cleared for the mining of pig iron, the raw form of steal. This is a piece of land from where trees were cut down, and then pig iron was mined out of the land.

  9. Threatening Indigenous tribes have been threatened by the loggers. "We are not able to go to the city, because it is dangerous for us.   10. Burning When trees are burnt for grazing land or any other uses the trees let off methane.
