Having its origin in India and now followed by people across the globe. The Tourism Ministry of India organize plethora of events across the country. The idea of International Yoga Day is proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his UNGA address, wherein he suggests that 21st June will be celebrated as International Yoga Day which will be an annual event. Yoga Day gears up to take over the world with its ground breaking celebration. So be a part of Yoga Day celebration and seek peace to meet your soul. What is International Yoga Day? Attracting tourists from all over the world in International Yoga Day is a harmonious celebration organized grandly in India. It is an event which has a major emphasis on yoga and meditation. Many yoga experts and fitness addicts from globe flock to Rishikesh just to participate in this grand celebration. This event plays a major role in growing awareness about wellness and promotes human well being that also keeps the legacy of yoga integral. The entire day, all you get to see is more than 50 evoking yoga sessions which have many cultural events and satsangs that takes place in the celebration. Get a glimpse of little bit history – The history behind Yoga is not revolving around wars and battles in India; in spite of it yoga is rooted in harmony, self awareness, and calmness. Here are some key points of this day – On Yoga Day, the day begins at 4:00 am with a beautiful sunrise and initially the start up is with Sadhana. The celebration ends at 9:30 pm. Average yoga class sessions will last for about 1-2 hours. In between snacks and refreshments will be served accordingly. All that you will experience is to be calm, nonviolent, respectful, discipline, and friendly. Cultural programs are specially meant for tourists to encourage people to remain in peace and harmony.     
