  2. Background Xperti.se is a new company that will bring an innovative web service offering to the market over the coming months. The closest competitors are websites like eLance, Guru and oDesk however these websites match individuals with a requirement to individuals with skills and are effectively an outsourced labour marketplace. We differ because we intend matching a client business with a service provider business to undertake one-off pieces of work of a management consulting or professional service (financial and legal) nature. This is not about hiring outsourced labour but about undertaking a professional business engagement. The template we plan to use for our website is shown on the next slide. We require two images to explain how the system works which highlight how it is different from others rather than why it is like other websites. The two images will appear where the photograph is shown. The first will show how the systems works from the perspective of the client user and the second will show how the system works from the perspective of the service provider user. More information on later slides and examples of what we are trying to do can be found on: https://www.odesk.com/w/odesk_story, http://www.guru.com/emp/HowItWorks.aspx, http://www.freelancer.com/ and others like vWorker, CrowdSpring, 99Designs, eLance, PeoplePerHour…

  4. How it Works – Client View EXPLANATION OF STEPS Xperti.se maps the users’ vocabulary to that of the relevant subject matter to help identify exactly which services are required for a project (users are often unsure exactly what it is they need – they tend to have a rough high level idea but the system helps to refine it). The system then offers estimates of the likely time and costs required to complete a project of this nature. The purpose of this step is for a user to better understand what they need and if they can afford the time and money to do the job. Using dynamic on-screen questions, Xperti.se emulates an initial consultation meeting with a service professional (white collar automation) and helps the client to build a comprehensive project briefing document at a time, pace and place that suits them. Xperti.se then matches that specific project to a shortlist of the ‘best-fit’ providers using an intelligent algorithm that matches across multiple factors (skills, industry knowledge, familiarity working with that size of business, based on peer reviews, and uses a proprietary work behaviour analysis, combining Myers Briggs personality profiling and Socionics intertype relationships, to predict the likelihood (probability/%) of a successful working relationship. After step three the system becomes like any other online marketplace by issuing invitations to quote, collating quotes, allowing selection of winner and notification to losers, then opens a collaborative workspace for the project and finishes with the usual attempt to capture feedbackwhich feeds into the intelligent matching algorithms to improve future performance. NOTE: Wording for steps on image can be changed if thought appropriate – that shown is merely a suggestion.

  5. How it Works – Provider View • EXPLANATION OF STEPS • For providers, Xperti.se delivers a pipeline of well-qualified, well-specified new-business leads in a standard format and enables rapid accept/decline. • It eliminates the need for face-to-face initial consultations because potential clients will have specified their projects more completely thereby saving time for the provider, leading to more accurate quotations and improving the likelihood that project outcomes reflect the client’s real needs. • It simplifies and speeds quotations and provides win/lose feedback to better direct future sales efforts. • After step three the system becomes like any other online marketplace. When a client selects a winning quotation the winning and losing providers are notified. The system then opens a collaborative workspace for the project and finishes with the usual attempt to capture feedbackwhich feeds into the intelligent matching algorithms to improve future performance. • NOTE: Wording for steps on image can be changed if thought appropriate – that shown is merely a suggestion.

  6. Requirements The graphic should be scalable to allow for different without significant loss of quality. A demonstration of the template we plan to use can be found here http://www.studiopress.com/demo/corporate.html We need to transition between the images (photos on the demo template) whilst making it obvious that the image has changed – one image for the client workflow and one image for the provider workflow. We need the images provided in multiple formats for example low quality such as gif, jpeg, pngand high quality such as ai, eps.

  7. Corporate Image Please note that the template will be changed to suit our corporate image which is: TYPEFACE main text - Century Gothic Regular X on square – Candara Bold –slightly Stretched “trusted” “beta” - Kalinga bold COLOURS Brilliant Amber: #FDC82F (square and dot) Light Brilliant Amber: #FFC50C (this is what they call a standard colour difference of 94% of our Brilliant Amber) Very Light Amber: #FFE07E (not sure exactly but it is certainly less than 93% of our Brilliant Amber) Dark Grey: #CBCBCB Light Grey: #F4F3F2
