  3. What is mblood? • mBlood is a free white labeled SMS based blood donors search service where users can search for blood donors by sending a single SMS. Anyone with a own short code like VAS provider, mobile operator, Newspaper, TV Channels who has a tie-up with mBlood can use the services of mBlood as their own service under their own SMS Short Code. • All the services provided by mBlood are available as API and our partners can use these APIs for providing services from their own shortcode or wap services. In simple words mBlood is a centralized search engine or database of Blood Donors across all of India. Page 3

What is mblood? • For example if a Newspaper named XYZ has a short code as 51000, they can launch a blood donor search service within minutes by using the mBlood. • The 2 reasons why the Media will prefer this approach: • Media house or operator can promote this Blood donor search service as a social initiative of their own. • They can use this service as a mode for generating revenue from their short code service. • And moreover Mblood doesn’t charge anything from our partners who uses the services offered by mblood.   5. Working • mBloodprovides a set of URL APIs for interacting with the core service. Using these APIs our partners can offer services like blood donor search, add as a blood donor, invite friends to join, blood related tips, etc. When a request is received mBlood server process it and responds as per the request.   6. Working • As of now APIs are available for the following services • Search: to search sms as Search<space>Blood group <space>STD Code. The user will then get a response via SMS with numbers of donors, if same user sends another SMS with keyword as MORE that user will get the details more donors. • Adding: Interested blood donors can add their details as a blood donor by sending a SMS as ADDME<space>NAME <space>BloodGroup<space>STD Code • Invite Friends: Users can invite their friends by sending an SMS as INVITE<space>Mob Number • Remove Me: if a blood donor is not interested in continuing as a blood donor that user can remove his details by sending a SMS as REMOVE<space>MobNumber, details with that corresponding mobile number will be deleted. • Help: To get help on various keywords send a sms as MBLOOD Page 6

  7. How it is Unique? • The 2 features which make mBlood unique are: • mBlood completely works over SMS. If you are in a situation where you are in hospital and you need blood for someone close to you. Going to an internet cafe to search these sites to get the details of a blood donor, is would not be practical or beneficial, as the actual process is very time consuming. Using mblood you can search for the list available blood nearby by just sending a SMS. You will get the contact number of those donors immediately as SMS. • What makes mBlood an outstanding service is its API services. Anyone can launch a SMS based donor search but, it’s difficult to reach this service to the common people. mBlood provide its services as white labeled services, just like an open source service which allows the Media like TV Channels or Newspapers to promote this service as their own which will help to reach out to more people which creates greater impact.
