  1. Accounting decisions – Jan07 • Aim is to agree on a number of points raised during the presentation on Accounting at the 19dec06 meeting • These foils are based on my email of 09jan07 Les Robertson, 9 Jan 07

  2. A. Automated reporting of CPU (usage and wallclock) • Do we still agree that non-grid usage should be accounted (and so reported to the C-RRB)? • Current status of Tier-1 CPU reporting • Do all sites report both grid and non-grid usage to the GOC DB? • If not when will this be done? • Is the normalisation factor published in the information system correct for each site? • Proposed timetable • All Tier-1 sites reporting both grid and non-grid CPU usage to the GOC DB by 1 March 07 • All Tier-1 sites to input historic data to the GOC DB by end May 07 • Possibility of providing manual CPU input for the LCG accounting report until end May 07 • C-RRB Reporting - only automatically reported data used for the October 07 C-RRB

Reporting CPU usage for Tier-2s • Only data reported to the GOC DB will be included in LCG Tier-2 reports • When will we be able to identify sites as Tier-2s in the GOC? • When will DGAS2APEL be supported for INFN Tier-2s? • When will OSG accounting be linked to the GOC DB • Proposal - LCG should start reporting the Tier-2 data that is in the GOC DB from 1 April 07? • Proposal - Tier-2 sites are required to report CPU usage to the GOC DB by 1 September 07?

  4. C. User accounting • Initially only considering Tier-1 sites? • Policies to be discussed/agreed at the February 07 GDB? • When will EGEE sites commit to deploying and activating user accounting? Proposal – 1 September 07 • When will OSG sites (BNL and FNAL) and NDGF provide user accounting?

  5. D. Storage Accounting • A pilot is already under way at some GridPP sites • Which Tier-1 sites are willing to join this pilot and by when?

  6. E. LCG Reports • The CESGA reports do not meet all of the LCG needs • Who is willing to be part of a small working group to define an initial set of LCG reports that could be implemented by CESGA?
