Introduction • There is an increasing demand for VoLTE technology demonstration at our customers • Customers would like to have an experience of basic LTE voice and video calls • Currently we are supporting demos in Service Experience Centers (SEC) and on-site trials • This slide set gives an overview what kind of VoLTE demo hosting model NSN is supporting • The setup will be updated from time to time according latest development status and customer requirements

NCS PC Client • Video Call function • Supported video codecs: H.263 and MPEG4 • NCS supports receiving video share from a mobile phone (available with IMS architecture only) • Voice and video streams are synchronized (lip-sync) • Voice Call • Supported audio codecs: • - AMR-NB, all modes supported and also support for • mode change requests during a call • - AMR-WB, all modes supported and also support for • mode change requests during a call • - G711μ, G711 A • - G729a/b • - iLBC • Echo cancellation • 3-party call (without a conference server) • Adaptive Jitter Buffer to maintain voice quality in varying • network conditions Note: The exact functionalities available with NCS client depends on the e2e solution.
