  2. What Do Flute Tutors Do? In a typical day, flute tutors help their students perfect new skills on the flute. Some days, they may go on trips to take their students to examinations and competitions.

  3. Education and Training of a Flute Tutor To be a flute teacher/tutor, it usually takes 2-4 years after high school. If you played flute in school for a school band or had a tutor as a child, it will most likely take less time.

  4. What’s the Salary? On average, flute tutors and teachers make $43,000 per year.

  5. What Does it Take to be a Flute Tutor? All it really takes to be a flute tutor is to be able to play the flute. It will take patience and the ability to work with others, though.

  6. Job Growth Expectancy I think there will always be a need for this job. The need will probably increase (in my opinion), as there are less and less people these days to meet the qualifications.
