About Joan Apter Joan Apter is a New York State licensed massage therapist with over 14 years of training in the use and application of Essential Oils.  She has studied all over the world with luminaries in the field, including Dr. Gary Young, Dr. Daniel Penoel, Jean Claude LaPraz, Valerie Ann Worwood, Michael Scoles and Kurt Schnaubelt. She writes "The Aromatherapy Corner" for the national magazine, "Healing Retreats and Spas.” as well as numerous local journals. Joan teaches nationally and Internationally at destination and day-spas, wellness centers, corporate education centers, hospital support groups, community networks and schools, Joan has had over 27 years of platform experience, both in corporate training and keynote speaking. Her work has taken her to 26 countries worldwide.
