Hayes1877-1881Republican Not the first lawyer to be president, but was the first to graduate law school Wife was dubbed “Lemonade Lucy," because she refused to serve alcohol at the White House Had Alexander Graham Bell install the first telephone in the White House. Hosted the first Easter egg roll on the White House lawn. Took his oath of office inside the White House, which was done in secret due to the previous election being bitterly divisive. Nickname: Dark-Horse President
