  2. SITUACIÓN DEL SIDA EN LA C.A.P.V. DICIEMBRE 2005 • Desde el año 1984 hasta el año 2005 se han diagnosticado 5.279 casos de Sida. • Han fallecido 2.969 personas, lo que supone el 56,2% del total de casos diagnosticados. • Durante el año 2005 se han diagnosticado 124 casos, el 3,1% menos que durante el año 2004. • De estos 124 casos, el 71 % (88) son hombres con una edad media de 40,6 años y el 29 % (36) son mujeres con una edad media de 37,9 años. • El 15,3% (19) son extranjeros
