  3. Capital City, Major Cities, Population • Capital City: Boston since 1630. • Major Cities: Springfield, Worcester, Newton. • Current Population: 6,547,629 people.

  5. Government • Current Governor: Deval Patrick. • Current Senator: Scott Brown.

  6. Borders and Geography • Borders: New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New York, Atlantic Ocean. • Geography: Connecticut River, Bunker Hill, Lake Webster, Berkshire Hills, Mt.Grey.

  7. Agriculture/Farming • Massachusetts would be good for farming/agriculture because it has a lot of big open land, fresh soil and big land. Also because they have a plateau.
